I had read some good things about Tokyo Ravens and thought I'd give it a shot. It went pretty well up until episode 10 or so and then it sank into a bog. Good action for the most part falls straight into episodes you would normally see at the beginning of a bad harem show.

I know. It's a harem show, but still. Get this crap out of the way early while I am still expecting the flotsam to float on by, not right after you finished two pretty good action arcs.

I do hope it gets better.
...and it did. It got back to the story and although the reveal was predictable, it was well done.  There were two things that happened to two characters that came close to a deus ex machina, and it would have taken such a small hint or two to have avoided it completely, but all in all they handles it well. I especially liked that he did not end up completely with the girl he will likely end up with. He was something of a different person after events unfolded and he was off on a discovery.

Since this is a light novel, it suffers from incomplete resolution syndrome, but I think they handled it as good as they could have.
